FRESH HIGH-DOLLAR PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION...READY TO ENJOY...ONLY NEEDS A NEW OWNER. CALL US AT 704.288.1967 TO DISCUSS.Mopar fans know that Plymouth finally got the performance angle right for 1970, and they went full force into it. The Barracuda was moved over to the E-body platform, which it shared with the new Dodge Challenger. The vehicle was essentially the same length but was now 5 inches wider. The increased width allowed for more powertrain options. The sheet metal and styling all were designed to reflect a "clean" and uncluttered appearance. Plymouth succeeded in this area and created a truly memorable and respected car in the new Cuda.
The performance models were called 'Cudas and featured five different V8s, the 340, 383, 440, 440+6, and the almighty 426 Hemi. The 440s and the Hemi cars received a special high performance suspension to put all that power to the road.
This beautiful car has just received a professional high-dollar rotisserie restoration with extreme attention to details. The engine is not original to the car but now equipped with a period correct and powerful 440 V8 (375 bhp @ 4600 rpm, 480 lb-ft @ 3200 rpm) matted to automatic transmission.
She is dressed in an eye-catching Lemon Twist exterior paint; black high back bucket sets, black hockey stick striping on the quarter panels, rear spoiler, fog lamps, sports car inspired steering wheel, large gauges, dual hood scoops, hood pins, dual driving lights, Cuda badging on the rear tail panel and Ralley wheels.
The 440 V8 engine runs strong; sounds great; and feels even better. Please take time to look underneath this car as extreme attention to detail demonstrating the overall quality of the restoration. This is a great opportunity to own a classic muscle car that you would be proud to drive anywhere.
