Vinyl high back bucket seats, hood scoop, competition suspension, color-keyed racing mirrors, console-mounted shift lever, rim blow-deluxe steering wheel, instrument gages, rocker panel moldings, rear deck lid tape stripe, deep dish sports wheel covers, 5 - E70-14 Firestone Wide Oval Belted - pin white stripe tires, color-keyed carpeting, AM-radio, power steering, floor mats. NOTE: Only 334 Mach 1's produced in Nugget Gold Metallic exterior paint and Ginger Vinyl Interior. This car is 1 of 89 1970 Mach 1's built with 351-2V Windsor engine and automatic transmission painted Nugget Gold Metallic with ginger interior that were equipped with power steering and AM radio -- all other options standard on Mach 1s.

Documentation / History

Assembled on November 20, 1969 at Metuchen, NJ plant. DSO to Cincinnati, Ohio were the original owner purchased and then had it restored in 1997. We purchased the car from the original owner in 2003. Extensive documentation history with original sales contract, owner's card, owner's manual, factory invoice, dealer invoice, sales literature and even the original promissory note. While the initial restoration was completed in 1997 since we purchased the car is has been on the national show circuit and received additional attention to detail by refreshing the engine compartment, undercarriage and interior. Meticulous attention to detail by professional mustang restoration expert. This car has been a National Award winner with multiple MCA Grand National Concours Gold Awards, AACA National Award, and numerous MCA National Concours Gold Awards in both driven and more recently trailered class. The list of regional and local 1st place awards are many as the car is an attention getter.
